When Miege science teacher Alan Thomas borrowed a pulse oximeter for a class demonstration this spring, sophomore Patrick Moore noticed something unusually wrong when it was his turn to measure his heart rate. A quick follow-up by nurse Maura Peterson led to a series of events that may have saved Patrick's life. |
